Rush Hour II DVD

Rush Hour II starring Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan is sort of a mixed bag. Partially a martial arts movie, but also, a comedy. This time they are in Hong Kong mixing it up with a Bad Guy. I know it sounds weird ,but it works. A laugh a minute, as they say. Packed with action.

Recommended for fans of Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan.

I saw "Rush Hour 2" two times at the theaters, and the film kept getting better and better! "Rush Hour 2" has more action, more comedy than the first film! And both Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan just couldn't be better...or funnier! It doesn't mean that the first "Rush Hour" was a bad movie, because I loved the first one as well. Remember in the first film when Jackie Chan was the fish out of water in Chris Tucker's world of L.A? Well, now, it's Chris Tucker's turn to be the fish out of water in Jackie Chan's world of Hong Kong. "Rush Hour 2" chronicles L.A.'s Detective James Carter (Tucker) and Hong Kong's Detective Lee (Chan) investigating a counterfeiting scheme that involves a dangerous Chinese triad leader (John Lone). As far as the acting sequences go, Jackie Chan did an outstanding job as always. And hey, even Chris Tucker decided to get in on the action as well, and that was amazing! Zhang Ziyi ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon") did a superb job as well in her villainous role as the triad leader's henchwoman. In conclusion, if you want to see a typical buddy-buddy cop movie, then I suggest that you see "Rush Hour 2" as soon as possible! A great DVD addition to add on to the first one.

"Rush Hour" is an exciting and action packed yet very amusing crime thriller. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker make an unbeatable pair when they have to get back a kidnapped girl. Although the two are culturally and temperamentally very different and cannot stand each other, nevertheless, their natural chemistry makes them an outstanding pair.

This is a well made movie with excellent acting all round with very good jokes. If you love martial arts and like comedy, you will enjoy this movie.

Three words, NOTHING BUT FUN! This is one of those sequales that is equally good if not better to the first film. What makes this film better is that there are lots more fighting, the comedies funnier, and the film moves along at a faster pace. The film also dose that entire thing a sequale should do, hafe of it has to give you what the first film did, and the other hafe should be brand new and fresh. Rush Hour 2 dose both, which most sequlle dose neither. Only the two title charecters come back, but the new cast makes up for, that with great supporting charecters. Zang Ziyi was the perfect choice for the films villin [...] who gets what she deservers in the end. The reason shes such a great villin is that the audience can loath her for a few simple reasons, yet in most summer movies these days the villins are pathetic, and are totally unthreatining, Toumb Raider comes to mind (though that film was ok but that not important). I own the DVD and it's filled with lots of goodies, Directer, screen writer Commentery, 3 trailers, 2 Teasers, 1 Theatrical, 9 dealeted scenes with optional directers commentery, they can also be put back in the movie along with infini films option, 5 mineuts and 37 secounds of unshown outtakes, a 2 mineut student film by the dirctor, 7 short featurettes, and a evolution of scene. Rush Hour 2 it definetly the Rush of 2001, and it's one of the shortest and funniest 87 mineuts you will have watching a movie. This is definetly a party film, or the kind of film you watch when you have a lot of your freinds over, get out the popcorn and pop, and other snack. It action like you've never seen it before, gerentued, and that the best recommendation you can get. Highly recommended.

This is my land. Here, *I* am Michael Jackson and *you* are Toto. You mean Tito! Toto is what we ate for dinner last night! With lines like that, how can you not love this movie? Rush Hour 2 once again pairs Jackie Chan, the fastest hands in the East with Chris Tucker, the Meet the biggest mouth in the West.
If you loved the first Rush Hour, you will love this one as well. This is an action pack movie with Jackie Chan's amazing stunt work and Chris Tucker's amazing comedic presence. This is a very very funny and entertaining movie.
This movie also stars Roselyn Sanchez, and the gorgeous Zhang Ziyi of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon fame as a crazed assassin. Zhang is great in this movie and some of the action scenes are amazing as well as funny. Let's hope this movie makes enough money to justify `Rush Hour 3'

Slick, chaotic, and decently entertaining sequel picks up where the first movie left off. LAPD Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) is on vacation in Hong Kong with his friend, Detective Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan). Carter just wants to relax, have fun, get some "mu shu", but Lee can't stop doing his job even for a minute. This time, he's hot on the trail of gangster Ricky Tan (John Lone), who may have been behind an Embassy bombing.
More-of-the-same in terms of content AND style, but still pretty engaging, with lots of action and thrills. Chan and Tucker still share the same chemistry, and overall there are some good laughs. (Worth it just to see Tucker perform Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough"...) For me, one of the perks of this sequel is watching "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" beauty Zhang Ziyi as a very fetching and lethal assassin.
