5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Mix from America's Trance Guru!
Christopher Lawrence does it again! A stupendous mix of Trance, PsyTrance and more. This guy is amazing, and he's my favorite DJ. The main reason why....his consistency and loyalty to Trance and its fans. His Trance is as fine now as what you got on 1997's "Rise." His podcasts are amazing with "Rush Hour," and his remarkable live sets which I download immediately on...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not my favorite of Christopher Lawrence
I am a semi new Christopher Lawrence fan, and I bought this wanting something new. There are a few excellent tunes on here to jam to while at the gym or whatever. The rest of the album kinda just flows together for me, and the majority of the songs' beat is too similar for my liking. However, listening to the album a few times, it has grown on me. Is it my favorite album...

Christopher Lawrence does it again! A stupendous mix of Trance, PsyTrance and more. This guy is amazing, and he's my favorite DJ. The main reason why....his consistency and loyalty to Trance and its fans. His Trance is as fine now as what you got on 1997's "Rise." His podcasts are amazing with "Rush Hour," and his remarkable live sets which I download immediately on iTunes when they are available.

"Rush Hour" starts out with possibly his best opening track on a mix release yet. It continues on bouncing between Trance, PsyTrance, and some Techno. Excellent mixing as is the norm from Mr. Lawrence. I have read this is just the start of this compilation series, and I hope he releases these CDs frequently! This label, Moist Music, is an awesome label for Trance, and I check out their Myspace page often.

Comparing to some of his other mix-sets on CD, this one grabbed me from the beginning. It's too hard to say just yet if it would be my fave, but it is right up there. I still can continually listen to "Gatecrasher." "Two Tribes" was amazing as well, and I loved the fist disc of "Unfold," which I think is an introduction to his future sets with Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Again, too many of his previous awesome sets to compare to. They are all superb from "Rise" through "Rush Hour." Grab them all if you can!

Thank you Christopher Lawrence, once again, for the best in underground Trance out there! I'm ready for more!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW, CL DOES IT AGAIN!!!, July 29, 2010

Ohhh man, is this guy for real or what???

I'm a looooong time follower of CL from afar in Australia, from back in the Melbourne rave days, he had me at his first mix release with Rise and then his live mix at War of the Worlds 2 (somehow I still remember the night?!?!)... this guy blew me away with tracks at the time such as "Shredder" by him, Graeme L's "Flatline" and Double Impacts "Fascinating", he's always taken the tuned in to the next level!

With something like 13 mixed CD's, his own monthly radio show, an own production release with a plethora of his own tracks & mixes, well over 10 years of quality CL releases, you would think maybe the spirit might start to wain or his direction would end up boring...

Absolutely NOT a chance, CL is at the TOP of his game ONCE again and the proof is in the incredible mix presented here with RUSH HOUR.
He does TRANCE well, no he does it amazingly well, he is the Trance Guru in my eyes. Lots of different views and sounds of trance over the years, but CL has managed to merge what I would consider to be the hardest of all into any mix and that is Psy Trance, I would say probably only John 00 Fleming can do what he does with style.

Psy Trance is a damned hard egg to crack for the masses, but if anyone is going to do it, it's CL with his perfect choice of tracks mixed like no other.

Once again, keep up the awesome work, I'll be back for more on your next release, pls make it soon while I put Rush Hour on repeat 8) and keep tuning into your Rush Hour show.

I love the Rush Hour radio show & I love this cd. Christopher has chosen some of the best tracks from the last six months of his radio show and has mixed them here to perfection. It's been awhile since his last mix release, so I was in eager anticipation for this one. From the amazing first track "Gone Astray" to the middle section of ripping psy-trance to the uplifting final three fantastic straight-up trance monsters (Alien Drop, Follow Me, & John Askew's "Bad Apple"-Danny Powers Remix), this cd's GOTCHA! Can't wait to see him on the Rush Hour tour this summer/fall!!!
