It is different then the first one also but just as interesting a read kept me in it and when wasn't reading was thinking of the book and what could be next.

Interesting characters that were well developed.

Brian Harmon has a fantastic imagination. His stories are so much fun to read. The characters are well developed, especially if you've read the first "Rushed" book. The main character is an every-day kind of guy, someone you'd be friends with! The adventures are wild and fun. I loved every word and can't wait for more!

I am enjoying this series by Harmon. I am very selective in writers and am a fan of Tom Clancy, Steve Berry, and Dean Koontz and now I have added another great writer to this list. I found these two books hard to put down.

I usually don't partake in reading unknown authors, but after reading I am Murphy's Law by C. E. Scott and The Troop by Nick Cutter (both excellent books that I highly recommend), I figured I would check out the Top 100 Horror list and sample some of the other "new kids on the block." Several have been horrible, a few have been so-so, but there were a few like Rushed that I found absolutely wonderful.

Harmon has taken an original idea and has implemented it very well. He has a great niche for storytelling, and the cliffhangers at the end of most chapters kept me flipping through the pages. From what I understand, this author does all the work himself -- writing, editing, and possibly the cover art -- and he does an superb job at it. I don't remember seeing any typos. It's nice to see up-and-coming authors create masterful works without help from any professionals. Bravo!

This novel may not be for everyone. I wouldn't necessarily say this story doesn't fall into the horror genre, but it is slightly different from the others on the list. Sometimes it reads more like a fantasy, but don't let that stray you away. Also, his writing style may not appeal to some, but I found it to be an excellent read. Give it a chance. An outstanding book for the price and a new take on horror.
