I have always previously owned cheap Conair or Revlon hair dryers - nothing over $19.99. I took a chance, dropped some cash and bought the Rusk Speed Freak in Pink. I absolutely love it! I have long thick hair - halfway down my back...and it dries my entire head of hair in 5-6 minutes, seriously! I wouldn't have believed it myself without actually seeing it happen. This dryer is worth the money. It does get extremely hot so be careful to keep moving it around your head but high heat and less time is actually better for your hair than using a dryer that takes 15 minutes. I will purchase another one when this one dies - I can't believe I spent all those years drying my hair for hours when this one gets it done so fast!

Expensive but worth every penny. Would definitely buy again. My wife wanted this for a Christmas present and I thought "are you crazy"? She was right. Great for men, better for women!!

Got this for Christmas and used it for the first time this morning and LOVE IT!! No more frizz or dry hair after blow drying!! We found it on sale for $50 but well worth any price in my opinion!! Thanks Rusk!!

Best dryer I have owned. I have a lot of hair, and it does the job in less than 10 minutes. It doesn't burn my hair or scalp, and in fact it leaves the hair silky smooth.

This dryer is great. It is super quick with drying my hair which really holds the water and is quieter than the dryer I had previously.

I have had my Speed Freak for about 2 weeks now. I use it daily and I LOVE IT! I will never go back to the drugstore or cheaper hairdryers again! Yes it is a bit on the heavy side but keep in mind, it is tourmaline and ceramic combined. Although it is 2000 watts of power, it stays so cool and it doesn't fry my hair, unlike other dryers. I recently cut my hair from shoulder length to a bob and this hair dryer dries my hair completely in under 5 minutes, no joke! I liked it so much I went out and got a second one in case it breaks but it seems like a really sturdy hairdryer so it will probably be a while before I use the second one. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this product! Leaves ur hair so soft and no need to flat iron or curl.

I'm onto my second Speed freak now. As a recent graduate of cosmetology school I felt the ones the school supplied was cutting up to speed for me even though it's a pretty good model so I went out and bought my speed freak and boy what a difference it makes in drying time.

I serviced alot of natural hair and coarse hair clients at school so this incredible dryer would literally blow dry them straight, thus cutting out the flat iron work for me. The 2000w motor combined with heat just cuts drying time in half.

Be careful though, it does get very hot and is the perfect professional tool. Not heavy like the super solano 2000 but just the right weight.

This is the first blow drier that i have spend more then 20 dollars on. Rusk was a brand my stylist recommended, and it is the blow drier she uses. It definitely takes care of you hair quickly. My hair was left silky smooth something my cheap blow drier failed to do. This blow drier definitely has some weight to it but completely bearable.

This speed freak hair dryer is amazing I absolutely love it. My daughter has an older edition of the same hairdryer and whenever I had the chance to use it I took advantage of that. When my last hair dryer kicked the bucket I knew I needed to get myself my own speed freak. My daughter is now jealous of my hairdryer. I would recommend this product to anyone.
