I've bought this tee in the past and it was a wonderful thick cotten....was shocked when I received these that they were paper thin. I returned.

Recently, my wife complained that several of my t-shirts were showing their age and it was time for new ones. Amazon was my first choice in shopping for new ones. I looked at several brands and choose the Pro Cotton Pocket T over the Hanes Beefy T mainly because Amazon gives free shipping for brands they carry. I had selected several Hanes Beefy T-shirts at a cheaper price from one of Amazon's merchants and was in the checkout when the shipping came up at $35 (they charge per shirt shipping with no adjustment for combined shipping. Screw that!! I went back and looked at the Pro Cotton T-shirt. In reviewing comments most people were satisfied with their purchase however, several complained about the shirts not being what they use to be. I'd have to disagree. I have a few older Pro Cotton T-shirts that were buried in my hunting pack for a few years and compared with the new ones. Same quality manufacturing and same thickness material. The only real differences are: 1) the neck is tighter (which I like but maybe a problem if you have a large neck) and 2) the cotton material is softer, not thinner. Other things I like about the Pro Cotton are: long sleeves down to the elbow, generous waist length (I tuck my shirts in so this is a big deal to me), reinforced and generous sized pocket and the tighter reinforced neck. I wear an X-large. I will be back to buy more of these shirts.

You advertised Russell Athletic Pro Cotton Tee but you sent me Russell Cotton Performance. This is a cheaper tee and does not fit as well, so i was not happy with the purchase and will not buy again!

They say 100% cotton but what was sent was a 50/50 blend I am not happy.

* Fabric: 100% Ringspun Cotton, 6.0 oz./sq. yd.
* Graphite, Indigo Heather, Navy Heather, Oxford: 55% Cotton/45% Polyester

So be careful which color you order or you may get a cotton/poly blend. Also, these are not the rugged heavy cotton tees that Russell made for decades. They're still a decent quality but not what they once were.

The review would have been higher but some thing has changed and the Tee's now shrink after washing. They are excellent compared to Hanes

I purchased four of Russell's Pocket T-shirts, because of their quality from past purchases. They are made lighter than they were in the past, but a third heavier than a comparable Hanes brand. Things do not always get better with time, and this is one example. Still a good T-shirt, but not what it was.

I live in Florida, where we go out all the time in a T-shirt and shorts. I like a T-shirt with a pocket, which seems to be becoming more and more of a rarity. The Russell Athletic T-shirt with pocket is the best, but it is getting harder and harder to get. I couldn't get the pocket T-shirts in the colors I wanted from Russell Athletic recently, so I tried Amazon.com and found the two kinds I wanted there. The only problem was that one came through without the pocket. I decided to keep it rather than go through the hassle of returning it.

Russell simply stated, doesn't make by mail order the quality of shirt they once did. There will not be a re-order.

Have purchasede Russel Products for years, these were somewhat of a disappointment. Not the shirt I've purchased in the past. Guess I'll be looking elsewhere for the quality I desire.
