Highly selective in its assembly of documents, omitting a lot of research,

This review is from: Russia and the Armenians of Transcaucasia, 1797-1889: A Documentary Record (Hardcover)
Like all of Prof. Bournoutian's research, it is very selective in which documents it translated into English, omitting most of the documents that do not help or support the author's vision. But since these documents are not available in English from other authors, I guess it will have to do, for now. Unlike with the other volume, only 2 stars here, since there are instances in which Prof. Bournoutian does not provide clear citations and quotes to augment his claims.
