Russian language learning made easy! for busy people.,
This review is from: Russian on the Go, Level 1 (Language on the Go) (Audio Cassette)
Used these 2 audio cassettes and accompanying booklet to learn some basic Russian while driving to and from work for three months. Never had much time to read, just mostly to listen. The problem is from time to time the words are difficult to understand and there is no phonetic spelling in the booklet to aid you...therefore you must still have a knowledge of the Cyrillic alphabet.

S. Arnold,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Russian on the Go, Level 1 (Language on the Go) (Audio Cassette)
I definately needed to fully know and comprehend the Russian alphabet before purchasing this to get the full benefits it has to offer. Also, on the tape they say the phrases and words really fast, so it's pretty hard to get the enunciation down.

There is no phonetic spelling in the booklet and this is is a big problem. I bought the Japanese version of this same product and it was very good and did have phonetic spellings.
