This review is from: Russian Peasant Design Motifs for Needleworkers and Craftsmen (Dover Pictorial Archive Series) (Paperback)
I added several images above to give you an idea of the contents. Unfortunately, the cover and inside of the front and back cover are the only color pictures. Beware that these are not charted but most of the designs have grids. If you get graph paper, you can either copy the images onto it or draft your own version.

The Dover design library of folk art and motifs is well-researched and authentic. If you like these Russian designs, I suggest you also look up the following Dover books. It is interesting to compare the various cultures' designs and see that there are more similarities than differences.

Charted Folk Designs for Cross-Stitch Embroidery: 278 Charts of Ancient Folk Embroideries from the Countries Along the Danube (Dover Needlework)

Charted Peasant Designs from Saxon Transylvania (Dover Embroidery, Needlepoint)

Charted Swiss Folk Designs (Dover needlework series)
