A very well written story of the Nobel family and an important source of information on the history of the oil industry, recording not only the Nobel's company (BRANOBEL) history but providing precious information on businesses of Standard Oil, the Rotschilds, British Petroleum and Royal Dutch, besides giving a colourful account of Azerbaidjan and Baku in the turn of the last century.
