A little light sanding, and this paint has restored the railings with a nice even finish. I will not be surprised if it lasts another 5 years.
I am a previous buyer of this same paint on Amazon but is was less than $5.00 a can then. I love Rust-Oleum (no brush required and little clean-up and a dependable quality paint). Also all prior painted surfaces must be prepared carefully for best results. The five stars ***** are for Rust-Oleum.
The cans I've used are good quality spray paint. Not sure why others have had such bad luck. Maybe their quality or pigment percentage varies a lot.
Way too expensive online, but you can get it at Home Depot, etc. (Also easier to return if you get a bad can.)

Painted six kitchen chairs after a through prep and prime and the result of the black satin finish is fantastic and durable.Published 1 month ago by Mr University of Florida
Works just like spray paint should. Quickly covered an antique iron register.Published 2 months ago by Amazon Fan
Exactly the same color as those little green plastic army men you could buy by the bucket back when people played with analogue toys.Published 3 months ago by Bad Hat
The fumes are terrible. It hurts my head. Even after hours. Its really wet and sticky, it looks blotchy and it ran out too quick on nothing. I dont reccomend.Published 4 months ago by Nelly Perez
This worked just fine for my purposes, and the color was as expected. I have found that the mist-type sprays do a better job of covering neatly and uniformly.Published 5 months ago by JStar
