I got this to paint over some thrift store furniture. I had used another brand of paint because the red wasn't "red" enough.

Regal red is a true red, very intense and lush. The paint went on smoothly and dried extremely glossy. I painted my back porch gate with it because the furniture turned out so beautiful. I'm thinking about painting an accent wall with it, I loved it that much!

If you are looking for a true primary red-not too blue, not too yellow, not pink-then this is the color you want.

I bought a quart (same stuff- Rust-Oleum 7768502 Gloss Burgundy) 2 weeks before this one and when painting my car the colors were off by more than a shade. Just be aware - colors may differ so if you think you might need 2qts - at least get them at the same time. I had to paint the whole car over with the "new" color. Not this Amazon's sellers fault.
