4.0 out of 5 stars Can she be a mother without giving birth?, November 21, 2002

(REAL NAME)
Ruth is another of Copeland's Brides of the West. She was one of the original orphans who were brought to Colorado under false pretenses. She must find a way to support herself but does not want to accept the romantic advances of a man nearly old enough to be her grandfather. However, knowing she can never bear children, she feels her chances of a normal marriage are slim. Setting out to force the marshal to take her to Wyoming, she finds her deception almost kills them both.

This book had lots of depth, good Christian morals and plenty of suspense and romance. I loved Ruth, the marshal and an Indian baby named Rose.

4.0 out of 5 stars More Brides!, December 2, 2002

Another great one for Lori! As usual I found myself totally involved in her characters! Ruth riding Bret was a hoot! After Faith, Hope,June and Glory, I am a Lori Copeland fan. Can't wait to find out about Patience. If you want a GREAT Christian book that is not "preachy", but full of humor, and faith sit down with Copeland!

Lori Copeland's delightful mix of romance, sensitivity, and light humor always serves up a "keeper" book! Ruth is no exception. Wonderful characters, great storytelling--readers can't ask for more!

Keep them coming, Lori Copeland!
