We just finished reading Ruth, a book from the 5-year through the Bible series and we were impressed. God's love for us is not just head stuff, but quite romantic, quite heart stuff. Boaz is a type of Christ and Ruth is a type of the Body of believers. Boaz is our kinsman redeemer just waiting for us to ask Him for help. The Bible is wonderfully deep and studying it reveals this depth and should pique our curiosity about it. J Vernon McGee's books lovingly share, in an easy to read, down home way, this marvelous Holy Bible which, through the ages, people have been unable to eradicate.
