It provides comprehensive condensed consumer information on hundreds of RV's, including most individual models. This is the closest thing to an RV Consumer Report. I thought I had decided on the RV I was going to buy until I checked it in the Rating Book and found that it was rated low in durability and that highway control and road safety were rated below 25%. As you can see, this gets beyond the glitter and right down to value and safety, things that come first to me. It also gives several other ratings such as maximum pay load and the discount that you should be able to get in your negations based on that of other buyers, etc. I had no idea that you can typically get a 20% discount off new RV MSRP. If you can't find a dealer that will give you the discount, you can contact JD and he will tell you where you can find on that will.
