Great guide to great values,

This review is from: Rver's Guide to Corps of Engineers Campgrounds (Paperback)
We've been using this guide for two years and have visited around 25 of the COE campgrounds detailed. With only one exception the information provided has been 100% accurate. In the one instance where we found a discrepancy it had to do with the Season of Operation. The Guide showed a CG open all year although the current open season ends at the end of November. This single discrepancy may be due to a change at the CG since the Guide was published. I'd recommend this guide without reservation. It provides all advertised information.

All campers need this book not just RVer's. The COE has some of the best campgrounds in the country. Some of the directions are a bit vague but they get you close and with phone numbers and road signs will get you there. Always call first before using these campgrounds because opening and close dates change from year to year. Due to funding cuts some of these campgrounds may be closed but others may be open instead. Most of these campgrounds are a real bargain and always centered around water.
