A haunting voice, evoking an unknown side of Rwanda,
By A Customer
This review is from: Rwanda (Audio CD)
Cecile Kayirebwa interprets traditional Rwandan music and poetry in a haunting and beautiful voice. She shows a different side of African music and of Rwanda. I have played her cut "Tarahinda" at many a party and have had endless requests to play it again and to record it for friends.

A gem from the Land Of a Thousand Hills,
By
This review is from: Rwanda (Audio CD)
This is an absolute must if you want understand the soul and the heart of the Land of A Thousand Hills. Get amazed by the polyphonic Urusamaza, or the dreamy Umunezero. Feel the pride with Inkindi or playful with Tarihinda. You don't even need to speak the language. Music here just has no boundaries.
