This review is from: Ryan's Place (The Devaneys) (Kindle Edition)
This was a good book - really enjoyed it. Like reading about Irish characters, families etc. (and believe you me I can be very critical if I think a story has not been researched correctly and correct expressions, phrases used) - not your "top o' the morning" cliched Irish backgrounds and accents. This was set in Boston - which is probably half Irish anyhow. Good story about Maggie and Ryan. Ryan and his brothers were abandoned by their parents as younger children .... he is wary of love and commitment but Maggie soon gets to him. Enjoyable read - looking forward to the next one about Sean. Only minor complaint is that the author should have known that Irish Whiskey has an "e" in it's spelling ...... as I said I can be a bit critical about the details.
