I work at a treatment center for emotionally disturbed children. I was looking for dolls for play therapy. These looked good because they were not character driven (not something seen on TV like iCarly, Barbie, ... ect) and they had basic family members represented. I also liked them because they had multiple sets representing multiple ethnic groups. When I got them I found out that the bodies were small hard blocks of wood. I did not think this would be good for my purpose so I sent all three sets back. I was disappointed but will keep looking...

These are great dolls. The arms and legs are poseable, just as described. They are well crafted and great toys that allow children to use their imagination rather than playing within the social constraints that come along with Barbies or other dolls. A great toy that I highly recommend!
