I recently purchased these shoes and am an avid exerciser, so they take a beating. Through interval training, weight lifting and kick boxing, they are very comfortable right out of the box. They're great for people who need a wide toe box, they give plenty of toe room. They also have very supportive insoles. I highly recommend these shoes.

I am an aerobic instructor who has no arch. Thus I need a shoe that is comfortable and can deal with the stress of high impact aerobics. This shoe handles the stresses perfectly. Moreover, this shoe is very stylish. Many aerobic shoes look like mini cruise ships and make your feet look enormous. However, this shoe is comfortable and looks great. You can workout with the shoe and wear it out for casual outings. I highly recommend this shoe!

These are by far the best shoes I've ever owned. I have bad knees (patellar subluxation), but exercise regularly to maintain my weight and strengthen my legs.

I bought my normal size (8.5) about 2 weeks ago. The shoes are light-weight, and seemed a little thin in the soles for all the hype (i.e., "these are made to support women's legs/feet"). The 8.5 fit perfectly and felt great as soon as I put them on. There's plenty of support, just where it's needed.

I feel much less pain in my knees when wearing these shoes compared to others (Asics, New Balance), including during exercise (lunges, dips, kickboxing, step aerobics, elliptical trainer, walking).

I'm completely sold on these shoes, and on the Ryka brand. I will not buy another shoe brand for my exercising needs.

These are by far the BEST workout shoes I have purchased in the past few years! Great fit, great shape, color and comfort! PERFECTION! Couldn't be happier!

I teach at least 6 to 10 zumba classes a week and had problems with my IT Band. My therapist recomended a shoe with a lot lateral support and great impact absortion. That is exactly what this shoe does for me. They slide easily to dance, at the same time they feel like they have enough traction to squat comfortably, and most of all , my feet feel like they are in the right place all the time, so my problems with my leg have almost dissapeared. By the way, my classes are very, but very high impacted, and these shoes work great, they bounce and you feel like in the clouds even at the highest impact. I love them. I wish they had funky colors, so I add colorfull shoe laces!!! The size was right for the number, no complains.Best purchase ever!!!

This shoe is more comfortable than my previous pair of Ryka's which were Studio D Low. Those are lightweight, but kind of narrow and tight, and they felt too slick for Kickboxing. I couldn't wear them for that without feeling as though I could slip and fall at any move. These shoes have some grip, but are still smooth enough for Zumba. They are meshy, not mostly the fake plastic of the Studio D's, so there is "give." There is plenty of room to stretch your toes, and if you have a very narrow foot, these may feel too large for you in that area. I have to tighten the laces every time I put them on, and loosen them every time I take them off. So that takes a bit longer. I wish these came in gray. I got the black. I normally wear a 6M in regular shoes, and I always get a 6.5 M in athletic shoes. Rykas run small, and my other Rykas were 7M, so that's what I ordered in these, and they fit fine.

Bought for Zumba. Took the advice & got 7 1/2 even though Im a wide 7. I definitely could have gotten away with the 7, becuase these shoes are pretty wide. No sad feet after an hour of zumba & I found it was 150% easier to do the sliding/quick moves than with my old running shoes. I love them!

I purchased this shoe for the first time in 2010. Since it was being discontinued, I purchased 2 more pairs. These run smaller than the original shoes. I would recommend that you purchase this shoe a full size larger than you normally wear. This is a great shoe for Jazzercise!

After reading some strong reviews for these shoes, I must admit to being disappointed. One shoe squeaks and the other hurts my foot bone. I'm still hoping the latter will improve as I've only worn them half a dozen times. They are light, and better for Zumba than my workout shoes, but the difference in support and comfort is marked. Not a big fan.

I use these on elliptical machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, and in the weight room. Very happy with their performance in all applications. The toe box is very roomy, heel is narrow and fits nicely so that it stays in place no matter what I'm doing. And the price is very reasonable. I'm happy with this purchase, and will keep Ryka brand in mind for future purchases.
