My old charger died on me so I looked to Amazon for a replacement. Not only did the item arrive much faster than I expected, the replacement charger weighs next to nothing compared to the old one with the same model number. They have somehow eliminated the bulky transformer. One of the best features of this charger is that it actually tests each battery before charging it. There is an LED lighting system that shows if the battery is too hot to charge, in too poor a condition for further use, or ready to accept a quick charge. It then shows a green LED to let you know it is fully charged and in maintenance mode. (trickle charging) All in all a great charging system for anybody as addicted to their Ryobi products as I am.

This battery charger works well, but there may be a bit of a design flaw. If you don't push the battery in just right, it might bend one or more of the contacts in the bottom of the receptacle. I would recommend the product, but be careful when you insert the battery.

Item replaced a charger that had got dunked in water while plugged in. It works fine just like the original equipment.

Overall a decent charger for a decent product line up, save the same almost everyone knows....Ryobi is cheap and disposable.

I own one, needed a second for household flashlights. They sit on my garage fridge and charge two batteries and not 1 at a time.

If you go through batteries, get a second charger like I did.

On the electrical grid, this charger works great! batteries charge quickly and then the charge lasts a long time (make sure you allow battery to cool after quick charging).

However, out in the field, this charger's circuitry is not compatible with power supplied by, for example, a small portable generator, nor by a modified sine wave inverter. The charger switches off long before a full charge is applied. - you must purchase a pure (or, true) sine wave inverter.

Just what the batteries ordered! I decided due to my limited use, I only need a single port charger, not a multiple port one. If you do a lot of work with multiple tools and multiple batteries, I'd get the multiple port version.

They shipped the completely wrong item but I sent it back with little to no effort and the new one was sent rather quickly.

I RETURNED THE ITEM, UNOPENED AND AM AWAITING A REFUND, NO RESPONSE FROM SELLER YET. IT WAS RETURNED ON 3/20 - DELIVERY REFUSED - WHERE IS MY REFUND?
