4.0 out of 5 stars inconsistent
The first few times I clicked to get a measurement, I got totally erroneous readings, but after it settled down, it was very consistent. It should be good for getting overall room measurements, but I would be reluctant to count on it for measurements to a fraction of an inch.

1.0 out of 5 stars Buy an eight ball instead
One of the worse tool I ever acquired.
Even in new construction where you know where the studs are it is hard to get consistant results with this tool.
Same when measuring distances. Hold the tool at the fix location, take several time the measurment and you will get different results each time sometimes over a foot apart.

Stay away.
