This review is for Damlow Prices aka DLOW - Total garbage! The item came used and open without original packaging which voids the warranty.(wrapped in a thin layer of bubble wrap) The batteries would not even hold a charge. If a seller wants to save money on shipping they should not unpack the items from their original box, and if they are that cheap then perhaps they should be selling on ebay and not Amazon.com. I wound up returning these and getting THE SAME PRODUCT at the Home Depot for under $46 (identical two pack, unused, and SEALED with warranty)No where in the description did it state at the time of my order that these were OPEN or USED and the 3 or 4 other people that left reviews about the price are 100% correct. Its a shame that with so many negative reviews this seller is still selling this garbage on Amazon.com (READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS PRIOR TO ORDERING)

I received these two batteries loose in the box which seemed odd. They were not in the normal clear two pack plastic container. Both batteries will not hold a charge and are worthless. This certainly was not a good deal and I will never do any future business with that company.

These batterys work (for a short time) but have a very short charge life and deteriorate in charge life very quickly. I'm constantly changing and recharging whats left in the life of the batterys. Unfortunately I bought a Ryobi tool kit including 6 tools. The tools are OK but not very good quality and I will never buy Ryobi tools again because of the lousy batteries

Not sure some of the reviewers of the Ryobi Ni-cad battery understand that...

--- all Ni-cad batteries degrade over time regardless of the brand, get real.

I don't know about Amazon's source, but I buy mine at Home Depot...

--- all have lasted at least 2 years+ and I am on my 8th battery.
--- never had a failure out of the box, but if I did, no hassle return to HD.

I use my Ryobi tools on mission work where if I lose them, or others abuse them, I'm not out $250-$500...

--- some tools, like the big drill and impact driver, are better than the others...
--- and you can say the same about every other brand selling cordless tools.

Ryobi fills a niche; if you want the best, then spend the money on some other brand.

I went to buy batteries for my Dewalt drill, that has served me well for many years. The Lowes sales guy talked me into buying a Ryobi 18v drill because they were having a "special" and the Ryobi with two batteries was priced less than the Dewalt batteries. What a mistake! The Ryobi batteries simply do not hold a charge. I should have known better. For new owners, -- do not base your opinion of battery powered drill on these poor performers. I've only used Dewalt and Ryobi battery powered drills, but I'll pay more and get a good performing Dewalt, even if they are priced at twice the price of Ryobi.

I needed newer batts to replace my 4 yr old ones, can't afford IONs and charger just yet. Found Home Depot selling 2 18v P100 batts, charger, 1/2" variable drill and carry bag for $69.00 !!!! Price might still go down with approach of Father's day or summer specials.

The Ryobi 18 volt batteries 2 pack, only lasted 7 months. I would expect at least one year of use for a $75 battery pack . Used under normal conditions, no abuse,I have owned other brands that lasted a year and a half. I will no longer buy Ryobi tools in part for this reason .

What I received was 1 battery in a baggie. I called the telephone number for Damlow and got an answering machine and was asked to leave a message and someone would respond in 24 hours. it's been 72 hours with no response. I used Amazon's "Contact Us" menu and wrote a description of the problem. After sent the email it stated someone would contact me in 12 hours , 48 hours later no one has contacted me. I feel I want to send the 1 battery back but I am afraid I will be without any battery and short $69.99 in my pocket talk about a rip off!!

Dam Low Prices rips off the customer and Amazon does absolutely nothing about it. I purchased items from Dam Low and they charged me $79.00 for shipping. Amazon wouldn't do a thing about this rip off. They should be banned from doing business through Amazon. I'll take my businees to Tool King directly before I order through Amazon again.

RECIEVED ITEM IN TIME SPECIFIED. MY OLD RYOBI 18V BATTERY WOULD'NT HOLD A CHARGE ANYMORE, SO THE 2 PAK WORKS OUT GREAT. CAN BE CHARGING ONE WHILE USING THE OTHER. SO FAR HAVE VERY PLEASED WITH THE BATTERIES, THEY ARE DOING A GREAT JOB.
