The packaging is nice... and that is what you're paying for. Otherwise just go to the garden center and buy a package of seeds, some soil, and a pot for half the price of this kit. I was gifted one of every kind of herb. Less than half of them sprouted, and those that did sprout I ended up repotting. May as well have just got my own seeds.

This is Grade-A Canadian mint.. It grows well.. the soil media is really fun.. I don't know how the Canadians did it.. but they made an awesome product.. go Canada.

I was so looking forward to growing my own mint for tea and cooking, but not one seed germinated. I was very disappointed. I can't find mint seeds or starts locally, so I guess I'll have to try another brand here on Amazon. Too bad, this kit is very cute.
