3.0 out of 5 stars okay
This book could be on the edge but you knew Jess is probably never gonna find her mystery man. And you knew she was gonna get caught, same with the ring thing, also it is a little boring in some parts like why would nicole want tom to kiss her again, liz is going after todd, but you also know that shes gonna get back with tom, but I don't want to spoil it so read it

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favourite SVU trilogies..., April 6, 2000
This review is from: S. S. Heartbreak (Sweet Valley University, No 13) (Mass Market Paperback)
I found the beginning of the 'Cruise' trilogy absolutely hilarious. I couldn't believe what Tom did. It does seem a little strange that he would just go for another girl, especially since he is supposed to be so in "love" with Liz. Nina and Bryan are particularly irritating in this series, it annoys me that Bryan is portrayed as this control freak. Anyway, Danny and Isabella are having problems, especially since Isabella insists on sticking up for Tom Watts (guess she still hasn't gotten over her crush on him). Personally, I'd like to see Isabella and Tom get together, they'd make such a cute couple. Also, Elizabeth's tendency to be 'perfect' can get a tad annoying, I wish she would just relax and take it easy. I don't know why she's going for Todd, he's a complete loser, and not to mention the fact that he dumped Liz at the beginning of college for the same reason that Liz is annoyed at Tom. Hint: Bedroom. ;-)

3.0 out of 5 stars PRETTY BORING, April 3, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: S. S. Heartbreak (Sweet Valley University, No 13) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is just about the most boring book I've ever read in the series. Tom kisses Nicole in a moment of insecurity (a really dumb reason) Elizabeth sees this and instantly falls into the arms of her ex-boyfriend Todd Wilkens (should have done that sooner since now he's getting involved with a sports/tomboy freak) Tom is now banging Elizabeth's door down for what reason I have no clue; Elizabeth is definatly the worst do-gooder ever. She's busy caring for her sister Jessica, for what reason I don't know. Jessica is always getting herself into scrapes and Liz is ALWAYS pulling her out of them. She is always abandoning Tom for that snob (if you've read Billie's Secret, you'll know what I'm talking about) Danny is being a jerk. All those ethics classes are making him paranoid, stupid and just downright insane. Actually stealing a ring just so Jason and Nicole can't get married? Why can't he just tell Jason to his face that Nicole has been cheating on him with Tom. On top of that he gets Jessica into trouble because the captain thinks that she stole the ring while she was rooting through everyones' cabins (Being Jessica she was looking through the cabins for a very dumb reason:she was trying to find her true love! This girl was almost raped and she stiils wants another boyfriend? Well, he did save her life) Well, that just about sums the book up right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elizabeth catches Tom with The Bride!!!, March 28, 2005
This review is from: S. S. Heartbreak (Sweet Valley University, No 13) (Mass Market Paperback)
Elizabeth catches Tom with Nicole,Jason Pierson's bride when she didn't want to have it with him. Isabella and I think Danny caught Tom and Nicole together,Winston and Denise are marooned. Nina is after the ship's doctor, and Elizabeth wants Tom out of her life. Tom doesn't get out of Elizabeth's life untill Dana Upshaw, and Jessica wants to meet the mystery man who saved her life when she fell overboard[kind of like Ellen Riteman in The Unicorn Club"Bon Voyage Unicorns" ] It's someone she's known since 6th grade.
