These are not my first pair of Smith handcuffs and these are identical to other sets I have had for many years ... perfect.

Great product. As an ex police officer I can say that these are the real deal, just like the ones I carried while on duty. Service was good, and they were delivered faster than I expected. Overall good experience and would recomend to all interested in this product.

I used to run security for concerts and high profile events. Had a generic brand of handcuffs and admittedly had one giant dude break them with great ease. But now as I am returning back to the security field after some time away, I figured so with quality. These S&W Handcuffs are identical to the ones my buddies on the force carry. They are strong, well made, and don't scratch or glare (big plus for silent removal). I dare anyone to try and pick these or break them from that matter.

Very nice cuffs, comes with 2 keys just like in the picture. To address the comments below about these being fake, well thats simply not true. Keys are stamped along the ring as well as the cuffs with a serial number and they came in a S&W box. They were covered in a oily brown substance but that was easily removed with some paper towels. I could see the areas around the joints/moving parts having this oil by them but the entire cuffs were covered, who knows but its not a issue.

I was looking for an extra pair of cuffs (currently a police officer). Decided to give these a try. Well other reviews that stated there is a greasy substance that is all over the cuffs when you first get them, there is. I had to wipe it off and took a few minutes for the grease to come off. If your looking for cuffs that are easy to open and close...well these are NOT it !...Being a police officer there are times when you need to get cuffs on someone quick and using one hand..well the arm does not swivel easy at all. I did return these cuffs.

I have had these cuffs, as well as, the silver ones for about 10 year snow. I use them around 15-20 times a day transporting prisoners to and from court. These cuffs have never failed me. The only difference between these and the silver ones are the blued finish (same quality). Almost everyone I work with uses these, since this is what they give us in the academy. Many people have had the same pair since the academy, even the guys with 20+years. These are hands down the best cuffs you can get. If you are a Law Enforcement Officer please do not be cheap with the handcuffs you use. I have personally seen people get out of cheap $10 cuffs. I have seen people pick the lock on ASP cuffs while handcuffed. I have never seen anyone get out of these when properly used (double-locked).

These are the old school handcuffs. Probably the most traditional you can get, work very well and there is a lot of stuff out there for them. You should not have a hard time finding a cuff holder for them as they are a normal size and normal make. Mine came with a couple of rust spots on them already which upset me. You really do need to keep these oiled (every couple of weeks depending on how much you use them) as they will rust. For those of you wondering, yes they are black (not blue). Blued is a technique used to make them.

As for actual use, I have not have a problem with them. They work great and are a very reliable cuff. They are kind of noisy so they are good for correctional environments where there is a lot of noise, you can hear the clicks.

Well, there are what they are. They're good double locking handcuffs. They have a smooth action and no hanging. Comes with the standard two keys. Real cuffs and worth the price.

These Smith and Wesson M-100's are not real.
I order a pair, received them in 7 days, opened the blue box to find that the
signature mark (or crest) was stamped. No serial number and no place of manufacture.

I own 4 pairs of Smith and Wesson, and these are not real, in size, weight or feel. The keys are
Peerless not S&W. S&W keys are branded Smith & Wesson around the hold.

    Fake.
