A good product for use in a condo or small house,

This is one of the Hoover vacuum cleaners from the European design team. The vacuum clean is good and cleans well, however you should keep in mind that it was not designed for use in large houses. The noise level is low enough and it won't bother most people. When I was looking for a vacuum I wanted one than was quiet yet did have enough suction power. This one does. It is also easy to clean, is very light and easy to move around or carry and seems to be well made and designed to last a while. The suction power / noise level can be adjusted and the max suction is enough to clean pet hair off the carpet and furniture with ease. The machine comes with 3 extra hose-attachments kept in a compartment under the RUNABOUT sign. The extra attachments are a great addition and do a perfect job for dusting off blinds, shelves, and other things around the house.
The reason why I couldn't give this product 5 start is that there is a distinct smell that starts coming from the vacuum after a prolonged use. The smell is caused by small dust particles that the filtration system cannot catch. It is not uncommon for vacuum cleaners to have a smell like this plus with this one there is a way to fix the problem. What I found out to work is you take the back filter ( a black and white sponge ) and wash it off before you start using the vacuum. Then you squeeze the water out of it so nothing is dripping off and put it back. The air that would be going through the filter won't allow for even the slightest drop of water to come in so this is perfectly safe. Anyway, the slight amount of water, left in the filter after the squeezing, keeps the tiny dust particles from leaving the vacuum and hence there is no smell. Considering the price and the quality I would probably buy this vacuum again.

Hoover S3330 runabout canister vacume,
This review is from: HOOVER S3330 Runabout Straight Suction Canister Vacuum (Kitchen)
I've had this machine for at least 3-4 years and been very happy with it. The bag may be on the small side, but it gives me plenty of use before needing replacement.
Cleans well, good suction, but not great on rugs. Recently I noted the suction dropped off after I put a new bag in. Turned out that where the bag instructs to fold, I folded in the wrong direction. I'd buy it again and the price was right back then $100. Davild

For some reason I admitted that a canister vacuum should be bagless. Well this one does have a disposable bag. In fact the bag is extremely small, about 5 times smaller than the one in my old regular Eureka. If you intend to clean the floor in your closet this vacuum should be good, but do not buy it if you want to clean something larger. I had to send it back.
