Initially I thought the price of this costume was a little steep, although I have received it and then worn it last Halloween I changed my mind. The quality of the material of the costume is not great, but again it's supposed to be pretty thin because what makes this costume fun to look at and wear are the tights. What makes this costume really stand out is the vibrant colors. The red is really red, and the blue is truly blue. None of the colors of this costume look washed out at all, unlike other Superman costume that I have seen that are cheaper in price. People also liked the fact that it came with a cape and that overall it really portrayed the Superman look. The muscle section of the costume can get hot to wear for extended times since it is made of rubber, but its only one day a year so its totally worth it.

Quick review for you Halloween folks. We got this in record quick time and it is very nicely made for years of Superman fun.

This size, Medium, fits a 6 foot adult. Our son is a little over six feet tall and it fits him well but is not snug. He weighs around 160, so as we read in another review do not order large or XL unless you are HUGE!

The costume is made to step into and the back has a tie at the top with an opening down to the waist to make it easy to step into. The chest area has fake muscles built into it so anyone can wear it and look muscular.

The red shorts and boots are built in to the costume. The boot part slips over a shoe with an elastic band on the bottom. The gold belt is like a separate sash and ties in back, so if you need it much longer you'll have to sew it on to a longer piece of fabric. (or just glue it on to an old belt that already fits you)

The red cape is separate also, has the S on the back and is nice and long. This is a little pricey, but a nice costume to wear many times. Great for large families or fraternities.

my husband wore this last year for halloween and got tons of compliments on it! The fit was good and it came with everything he needed for a complete look. One thing I will mention is that he's around 5'11" and medium build and the large was a good fit. If it were a bigger guy the fit would probably not be so good. Very happy with the costume and definitely recommend it!
