It not only hurts my ears it hurts my head too.

I've bought two of these, the first one my son just broke, the second one, the boom stopped working after about month of use.

If you are looking for a nice headset I would suggest paying a little more and getting something like turtle beach.

Had problems with my old headset which was really cheap (10$?) so I decided to try this one out as I liked the look of it. First let me say this particular one is shipped from china and takes several weeks before it will arrive, it came on oct. 23rd and est. shipping was oct 31st-Nov 11th. So far so good, its comfortable has great sound and the mic works very well. At first I was concerned because the actual mic is pretty far away from your mouth and is only adjustable up and down, so there is no way to get it closer to your mouth. However people have said that it sounds great although I still feel the need to speak loudly just in case. The other thing that I liked about it was that the mic folds up into the earcup so when not in use it isnt sticking out and I dont have to worry about my 2 year old stepping on it or messing with it. Being only 20$ so far I am impressed but only time will tell if this product will keep the 5 star rating I gave it. Hope this helps.

I have been an online gamer for several years and have used countless types of headsets/mics always to be disappointed...THIS one is by far the best I have used. I have used Logitech, Turtle Beach and Skull Candy over the years and I'm super happy with this one!

These work great. I was concerned that the sound would be weak, because of the low price. I was pleasantly surprised. These carry deep levels of bass and produce a well rounded spectrum of sound. All reports so far rates the microphone as clear. This was a good buy and I recommend it. One caution; It is designed for use with computers, such as video chats and on-line gaming. To use with smart phones you need a dual female 3.5 split, into a male 3.5 mm 4-PIN adapter. Headphones come with a volume control and an on off switch you can use as a mute button for the microphone.

Bought this the other day to replace an aging LG headset that i had sitting around since my early Counter strike days.
I wasn't expecting much due to the price point but i was blown away by the sound quality on these things. They are quite comfortable as well with cushion on the actual headband itself. The mic sound quality is equally as good as the speakers themselves. I could hear everything with perfect clarity and the people on the other end of my games said i was crystal clear. If your looking for something better than turtle beaches at a amazing price point look no further i will definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had a Logitech G35 headset, one of the more expensive gaming headsets, but the wire frayed and eventually broke (the earpiece joint had broken too, but I "mended" that). The G35 had really nice sound, but I didn't feel like paying over $100 again, so decided to find something cheaper as a replacement. Something I wouldn't mind breaking.

Sades is not a brand I was familiar with, but the price was right, so I decided to take a chance. I checked out their website; it made me feel like they were legitimately trying to build good headsets. I've now had these headphones for a few weeks.

Build: Looks like the entire frame of the headphone is plastic, which makes me somewhat uncomfortable. I think I could easily snap the headband by pulling apart the earphones. But at the same time, they're both light and sturdy. I haven't noticed a single manufacturing defect. The wire is somewhat thin, but doesn't tangle. (The braided covering on my G35s caused more trouble than it was worth, twisting, fraying, and causing the covering of the wire to split.) Where the cord enters the headset (bottom of left ear) and minijack plugs, there are rubber bend-absorbers. I'm not sure what these are called but I appreciate their existence, makes shorts in the wire less likely.

Headphones. Reasonably comfortable, but not luxurious. My ears don't quite fit entirely in the middle of the padding (I'm a six-foot male, so maybe they would for people with smaller ears). This makes for uncomfortable ears after a while. I actually took a knife to the padding ring, cut some slits to loosen the inner ring of the padding. With this modification the earpieces are quite comfortable for me, even lying on my ear for a while. They're more breathable and lighter than my G35's, which got steamy sometimes.

Don't get me wrong this is worth your money. This is one of the best cheapest alternatives to a high quality headset. I have had this headset over a couple weeks and I had barely and problems with it. The only problem I have is the audio changing from each ear. What I mean by that is when I re arrange the cord, sound instead of being heard in both ears only comes out on the left ear. I think that problem happened because of how I store such a long cord. If you take good care of this headset, it will probably last you awhile. Overall, its great.

PS. The headset has an audio jack and a mic jack which only works with some old computer sound cards. That means it won't correctly work on a phone or a new laptop with one single jack for both audio and microphone. If you want to convert it to work with those incompatible devices, you have to buy a splitter that takes audio and microphone into one. Here is the one I got, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SP0WAQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_6 . It is cheap and it works fine.
