I bought this chair for our concierge desk. It is also used by our security detail when I am not on duty, so it is used 24/7. Everyone is commenting on how comfortable and sturdy this chair is, after having gone through quite a few cheaper chairs. It has a strong aluminum base (not plastic/nylon that keep breaking) and it is nicely padded.
