This one has been out of print for sometime now which is truly a shame. It is one of the best introduction books to the subject of the reproduction of Frogs, Toads and salamanders introduction available. The author certainly knows her subject and has the ability to translate her knowledge to the level of her intent. As with all of her books, this one contains a vast amount of basic information suitable to the young reader and in fact most adults could learn a thing or two from it also. The illustrations are pencil sketches and are quite good and quite accurate. They go very well with the text. If you can find this one, it is a great book for teaching your children and a great book to add to their nature collection. Recommend this one highly.
