Very interesting concept. Our brick was about 10" x 4" x 3", pretty thick compared to the slabs others have or commented about. Brick was heated for about 45 minutes at 450 degrees..Tried some slices of Filet on a heated brick. Instantly started to sizzle, and withing seconds, flipped over and finished... Salt flaver is more than minimal, it added a lot more salty flaver than we anticipated based on other comments. Brick was very hot initially, but it cooled down so quick, that a second round of Filet slices was cooked a lot slower, even flipped it as we used it. Over-all... flavor of the salt is better, not very much information found to get some lessons on using these, lookes great sitting on a slab of granite in the kitchen, and certainly adds conversation...Will continue to improve its ability as we test and learn..
