Great Case,

My first video review, figured some people would prefer a video. I forgot to mention these: In contrast to the statements of any review, the cutouts are actually centered, you just need to make sure they are centered when putting the case on. Also, I haven't seen any dirt built up. 5 Stars because it does exactly what it is described to do. Go for an Ottobox case if you're looking for heavy duty.

The price is right, and it's not a half bad case either,

Let me be clear up front - this case would get 5 full stars from me if I were basing my rating on value as well. Overall, this is a very nice case, and it seems to get the job done just fine. On the other hand, it's got a bit of a cheap feel and it's clear there are some imperfections in the mold. If you're considering it, make sure you take note of the wave pattern on the back of the case in the image. For some reason, I thought that this was supposed to indicate some kind of reflection or light pattern showing on the back, but this is not the case - it's actually two-tone. Most of the case has the same smooth, high-gloss finish that the bottom/right side of the back displays, including the front and sides. Along the length of the sides, the plastic is essentially knurled (here's what knurling looks like: [...]), with small raised sections for the buttons. There are no cutouts for the buttons on the sides, but it seems that there are adequate cutouts for everything else on the phone (e.g. the terminals for docking connector, the mic, the speaker, the pressure sensor, the camera, the headphone jack, etc). Everything in that regard seems to line up perfectly. The front has a nice subdued but slightly raised lip that's also the glossy plastic, giving it a nice matching appearance to the glossy black front of the Galaxy Nexus itself.Overall, the knurled plastic on the sides do increase grip on the phone considerably, and the thickness of the case is pretty minimal, but I was hoping for a slightly less slick backing material so that I can set the phone down on something somewhat smooth (like leather) and it wouldn't slide around. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. Even the matte finish section of the back is pretty slick, though it is a slight improvement over the stock "soft touch" plastic back. I haven't tried to take the case off mine yet, but though the case fits very well, it's not ultra tight, so I don't think this would be problematic. Sadly, it's that same less-than perfect fit that makes it feel slightly less than a premium product. My biggest gripe about the case is with respect to how they handled the button cutouts. Unfortunately, there is very little in the way of tactile indication to tell you you're touching one of the buttons, so you kind of have to instinctively know where they are. Also, since there is no cutout for them and you're basically pressing through the plastic to trigger them, the tactile response you get from pressing them is significantly reduced and somewhat less than satisfying. In general, it's a nice case and definitely worth what I paid for it. It doesn't add much thickness to the phone, it's easy to get in and out of your pocket, and it definitely enhances your grip on the sides of the phone (albeit at the slight cost of comfort). It's got pretty sharp looks, and the price is certainly right (I paid just under $6 with prime shipping). I'd recommend it to anyone that's looking for a cheap case to provide a little scratch protection and extra grip for using the phone single handed.

Not quite the right fit...,

The case in the product photos look great, but with any inexpensive case the devil is in the details.1. The product arrived in a nice bag, giving me the impression of quality. The product inside, however, was dirty. There appeared to be many water spots on the black TPU. They washed off, but that was downright weird. 2. The fit appears to be for the GSM version of the phone (as opposed to the slightly thicker LTE version for Verizon use) and so the lip of the protector can't quite make it fully around the screen as intended. It fits, but it's clearly for the slimmer GSM model. 3. The cut-outs for the USB and headphone jacks are slightly off-center. 4. The headphone jack cut-out is rather tiny and will prohibit all but the smallest of headphone connectors to be used with the case on. Otherwise, for the price they are asking it's not a bad case. However, I am going to keep looking for a replacement because I won't be satisfied with this one for long.
