I ordered the Samsung HL-T6756W replacement rear projection TV lamp for my DLP unit. I thought the lamp would come in the holder as shown in the picture. The only thing I received was the lamp, no holder. It was easy enough to put the new lamp in my old holder and everything is working fine, but the picture needs to match what I am buying.SAMSUNG HL-T6756W Replacement Rear projection TV Lamp BP96-01472A

Purchased another off-name bulb and had a high-pitched squeeling sound. The wife couldn't hear it, but it was driving me nuts. Returned that retailers bulb, bought this.. And it works great!

I have bought 3 lamps in the last year because they all go dim within a month! This one hasn't lost any brightness and its been over a month! So this is well worth the money.

Our original lamp in our TV went dim after 4 years. I ordered this one, not knowing that it wasn't the factory original, but a cheap aftermarket product. I got it in June, and by September, the lamp had already blown. It didn't go dim like my original lamp, but it really blew up - made a very loud popping noise. Upon inspection, the lamp had literally blown to pieces! Save your money and buy yourself a nice Phillips one. Turns out, the Phillips bulb was just a couple of dollars more than this horrible cheap one that I got! I ordered a Phillips one from a different Amazon vendor.

Note: This lamp claims to have a 150-day warranty. I tried to contact the vendor and no one replied. So after 8 days, I went through Amazon.com's customer service and they helped me return this defective item. Thanks Amazon... I hate that a good company like Amazon must deal with irresponsible sellers who don't reply to email or voicemail.

We have been purchasing these lamps for our TV for many years. This lamp was exactly what we needed but at a far better price than any of the other brands we have purcahsed in the past.

I was a bit concerned about whether this product was an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) product or not. A lot of reviews I had read at Amazon for other products indicated high failure rates and exploding bulbs. The good news is that this is, indeed, a real OEM product, and it performs well (at least so far!). The installation was a snap. The whole process took less than 15 minutes with time out for some coffee. Save yourself at least $20-25 bucks. This one works!

recieved bulbs in good condition. When trying to instsall noticed the plug was instsalled upside down and wires were connected wrong.
After turning plug around, and reconnecting the wires correctly the buld worked fine.

item arrived on time - paid handyman $10 to install - this item enabled me to continue to use my current TV without purchasing a new one, which i thought was necessary

Before we bought this lamp, the t.v. cut off all the time. We replaced the bulb and the t.v. works great now!

We bought this lamp replacement when our screen started darkening down. It was to my door within a week (with the free shipping option!) and the product was in perfect shape. Took all of 5 minutes to replace the burned out bulb with this new one. It has been in about a month now....no problems at all. Picture is clear and gorgeous and best of all, we didn't throw money out the window with service techs or worse still, a full replacement of the TV. Well worth the money!!!
