Antiquated technology,

This is truly an outmoded product. I had hoped 10-year old technology would be simpler to use, and more intuitive, since I had been used to the old slide-action tape recorders. Wrong. This recorder is the worst of both worlds: very poorly designed, as well as antiquated slide-switch operation subject to mistakes. Poor customer service, too. They were completely unfamiliar with its functions. Bite the bullet and buy a contemporary, all-digital recorder with push-button operation. In this case, newer (technology)really is better!
