It's unfortunate that Ms Quisenberry is still spreading untruths...here's the real story...I did indeed contact Ms Q., et al, to assist in ghostwrititng chapters for this book since I was approaching a deadline at the same time that I was in renal failure awaiting a kidney transplant. I paid her for what I later discovered was plagiarized material from a college web-site. The very same Judy Bass to whom Ms Q refers, was the one that brought to my attention the fact that several paragraphs in Ms. Q's material were outdated and appeared to have been written some time ago. After entering some of the passages from the material that she submitted on Yahoo, I discovered that her submission was taken from a paper that had been published on some college web-site years earlier. Too bad she hadn't proof read the material before submitting it as her own. Obviously, her submission was not used and I had paid her some $1200 for nothing. The book was written by myself and one other writer who agreed, as part of our arrangement, that there would not be a writing credit. All that I've stated is true and verifiable (I still have her time-stamped email submission along with the college web-site info), though I doubt anyone, save for Ms. Q who, sadly, is still talking about this some 5+ years later, would be interested.

Ms. Colon's comments are fairly humorous; the SANs Demystified text was in fact written by me as ghostwriter. Of course, Ms. Colon's original submission of a loose outline with approximately two paragraphs of origination text (those she states are searchable on Yahoo) were meant she said to provide the look and feel she'd like to follow in compiling the book.

All these facts, again, are accountable through server history and submission files as well as an off-site server repository where I've stored the files for safe keeping.

All work submitted to McGraw Hill on my part contained citations, which Ms. Colon left out of the published text, and some diagramming really required those citations.

Ms. Bass of McGraw Hill stated, "it is obvious who wrote this text-we are sending your gratis copies," you should litigate, but leave us out as we don't approve of ghostwriters just co-authors and Ms. Colon knew that. And, she considered pulling the ISBN, but said it was too far in the processing. We spoke at length a number of occasions and Ms. Bass was quite considerate. From her I learned that as a ghostwriter nothing conveyed to me had been in earnest from Ms. Colon. By Ms. Colon's own admission-she forwarded my submissions without as much as an "author's" edit. While speaking with Ms. Bass-she conveyed that she knew Ms. Colon hadn't written the text as it didn't match her original query for the ISBN. She then added there was no "issue" with the text I submitted now that she understood who actually wrote the work. Lastly, she expressed that Ms. Colon knew that McGraw Hill did not allow ghostwriters and she complimented me on Chapter Five the submission that Ms. Colon had sent her to meet an initial chapter deadline while stating to me it was an entire book deadline.

Ms. Bass furthered that as far as she was aware Ms. Colon was healthy and according to Ms. Colon's email-she had kidney surgery much earlier on, but then that was a malleable date as needs altered on her end.

But, the text is decent-having written it-I should know and certainly it mates with other texts I've written. The case studies actually use family scenarios here and there putting the SANS into an analogy setting.

In final, this matter is tiresome to me. The fact that I was ghostwriting was fine with me-I was happy to ghostwrite; however, the lying and the fact Ms. Colon wasn't credible gave pause, which is the crux of this matter in its entirety. I even included her in prayer for a speedy recovery-then in speaking with Ms. Bass was shocked to learn the extent of Ms. Colon's derision.
