The quality is decent and they appear to be well made.

I just purchased these gloves, and I love them - they seem well constructed, the steel shot in the knuckles definitely packs a wallop.

The left glove squeezes my knuckles a bit, and after a while they hurt.

I just purchased these gloves, and I love them - they seem well constructed, the steel shot in the knuckles definitely packs a wallop. Thankfully I've not had to use them for self defense, yet. I did however spend 30 minutes on the heavy bag with them, and the bag is now noticeably more pliable.

I definitely suggest getting these, but you should wrap your hands if you plan on using them for extended periods of time, because the steel-shot goes two ways and your hands will be left pretty raw without proper coverage.

These gloves are very heavy and are great for protecting your hands from impact. Unlike brass knuckles (Illegal) which are meant to cause tissue damage, SAP gloves (legal) distribute blunt force which concusses an attacker. Not only are they great for self defense, but they double as everyday gloves to keep your hands warm as they appear to be normal gloves to the average person.

Great gloves. Comfortable and warm, plus They pack a punch in case someone starts acting stupid. Look just like normal gloves. I wore them for a while and the steel shot in the knuckle area didn't bother me at all.

These gloves are basically OK for the price but for some reason the shot material they use for my fingers make my knuckles hurt.

I received these gloves today and i cant think of anything bad to say about these. They are just AMAZING. Perfect for self defense, you can definitely feel the 8oz of steel shot in there. They can really do some damage. Better then brass knuckles 100%. Great product and an incredible price. Definitely a must buy.

Yeah these things are brutes, was able to easily break through a fence with these on. But for some reason it almost seems like I got two different sizes. I just got them for a costume and by the end of the night I didn't want to wear them because they made my knuckles feel weird. Must be lead in them.

Alright, first off these gloves are cool and I can see the defense applications. The problem I have with them is that they do NOT look like everyday gloves (as other reviewers have said). These look like straight up sparring gloves. The knuckles need to be adjusted when you put them on but its not that big a deal. Overall a good item, probably not the best for a hidden defense option.

Pros:
These are legit gloves. If you hit someone anywhere, they'll know. Not readily apparent they are SAP gloves either. Brought them to work and have for month+ and no body realized what they were. Also read complaints about the shot rubbing raw the delicate hands but I suppose for them city slickers who don't work with their hands, this might be a problem. I have not had this issue.

Cons:
The stitching is coming apart already one side and they're only available in L or XL. They are gloves in the sense they cover your hands but not gloves that keep your fingers or hands warm. More for spring/fall than anything.
