I know you keep searching for SAP CRM 7.0 books and nothing but this comes up. Well it is probably your only technical guide to learning and experiencing SAP CRM 7.0. The section on Business Partners and Org Management was excellent and got us started on a fresh install and setup for a fairly large organization. Overall the book does it's best to describe setting up the CRM and some customizations. It really is hard writing instructions for a monster like SAP, but this book truly delivers. Nice job got us up and running.

I was new to SAP and ABAP both and needed explanations on how the CIC fits together and how to customize it.I was looking for this exact book and it is perfect for that. If you have a rough knowledge or even none of the CIC this book clearly explains how to accomplish customizations with concise screenshots accompanied by clear explanations. They do not dwell on boring details, but very simply and clearly explains how each element of the CIC works and is customized. They also work through an easy to understand example. I think it would be very beneficial to have a sandbox installation of CRM to play with, but I could follow the book well enough using my development environment and following existing developments.. I did find 1 or 2 small errors in the SPRO paths(possibly due to the CRM version), but the listed transaction codes work perfectly. Even though I have not completed the book yet, I can already recommend it to any developer new to CRM. I have already used it as a handy reference and can see myself using it for quite a while still. This book is well worth investing in and all my developer team members are ordering their own copies. |
