2.0 out of 5 stars Dry,Not up to date
This book is incredibly dry and not up to date. Sap's developer network is much better for getting the information about the portal.

The book shows how it can be used to make a web portal for your company. Assuming of course that you have chosen SAP to handle a lot of your computing logic.

Code examples are mostly shown in Java. These indicate how you can write custom code to hook up to EP and access the data it holds. The examples do not seem that complicated. Though perhaps they were chosen that way. Your own situation might necessitate more involved logic.
