5.0 out of 5 stars It works!!
My daughter has wanted the Bedazzler for months. I kept putting her off because I knew it would be a piece of junk. Her 11th birthday was last week and Grandma got one for her. She had a little trouble at first, but she got the hang of it. She loves it. She has bedazzled two of her sweaters and a t-shirt so far. They look so cute and she is so happy.

1.0 out of 5 stars It was easier to just take a pair of pliers to the rinestones.
My daughters and I tried several times to put the gems into a plain tee shirt, (no thick material) and instead of it pushing the rinestone prongs in, it pushed them out. (to where it would cut the user)

1.0 out of 5 stars It was easier to just take a pair of pliers to the rinestones., November 13, 2006
My daughters and I tried several times to put the gems into a plain tee shirt, (no thick material) and instead of it pushing the rinestone prongs in, it pushed them out. (to where it would cut the user)

We adjusted, went slower, read directions everything. Until I finally got fed up, grabbed my pliers, and pushed the rinestones in by hand and mashed down the prongs with my pliers.

This "bedazzler" was a piece of junk. I was not dazzled at all by its performance. I would love to find a rinestone setter that actually does what it says it is supposed to do.

1.0 out of 5 stars Another piece of plastic junk, January 1, 2007
My 7 year old wanted this so bad for Christmas so I got it for her. She watched the commercials for it countless times and boy do they make it seem so fun and easy. First I cannot believe the price for this piece of plastic, I was very disappointed at the quality and how flimsy it is. Well we just did it today and it did not hold the kids interest due to the fact you have to be very very precise and push down really hard and when thats said and done some of the prongs are not completely through nor bent under in the correct position. Have read directions to the "t" and still do not like how the prongs spread out rather than tuck under when pushed through. We did a pair of her jeans and now I don't want here wearing them since it looks as if she'll cut herself. I have read the other post saying people probably are not doing it right, however it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know junk when you see it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Piece of junk, August 13, 2006
My daughter and I were SO displeased with the Bedazzler machine. It just doesn't work! We wasted dozens of the little studs and gems and managed to get ONE to stay on the fabric. Don't waste your money on this item.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth your time or money!, March 20, 2007
This product is a joke. As stated in other reviews here, the studs have to be manually reset so as not to hurt the wearer. The cost is ridiculous considering how cheaply made it is. I'd love to call Tana to let her know how bad the product is, but, strangely enough, there is no Customer Service number on the box nor is a number on the written materials. Guess Tana doesn't want to hear the truthful feedback.

This machine is a joke. The plunger falls off and the plastic heads keep falling apart. The setter does NOT set the stones or studs. 75% of the prongs have to be reset by HAND. DO NOT BUY!

1.0 out of 5 stars STINKS!!, February 27, 2007
THE ONE REVIEW THAT SAYS WE JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT MAY HAVE GOTTEN A BETTER PRODUCT 10 YEARS AGO. MY DAUGHTER AND I DIDN'T EVEN GET ONE PATTERN DONE BEFORE IT BROKE. CHEAP PLASTIC PARTS.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and not in a good way!!!, May 29, 2007
My daughter and I purchased this at a Michaels Art & Craft Store. After resetting the plate and rereading the directions we still only get about 1/4 of the stud to set correctly. Most need to have the prongs bent in the correct direction by hand. A few need to be completely removed from the fabric. The plastic heads keep coming apart. Not very happy with this product at all. There must be something better out there!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars A Nightmare!, January 24, 2007
By
My husband ordered this for me, and received two. Trying to return the extra has been impossible! They really don't want you to be able to get a refund, and they show you that by making it as hard as possible to work with them. The funny thing is, my parents also ordered this product, and received two. It really is nice that a company can sell twice as many units and then not take them back! I would definitely stay away from this product because the company does not take care of their customers, in fact I feel like they're taking advantage of them!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Don' buy this!, February 15, 2008
Get Gemagic instead. I ordered the Bedazzler, mistakenly, before reading the reviews and, mistakenly, from the company directly (big mistake!). While they say the product is $19.99, they charged my credit card $42.00!!! What happens is they double charge you for the FREE mini that is 2 oz and comes in the same box. I dont think this is legal, but they do it. And their customer service is a brick wall. I ended up buying the Gemagic for my 11-year old neighbor and she absolutely LOVES it. Be warned and buy the Gemaogic instead!
