I've been very happy with the decision on buying this model. It had good reviews in print and online by previous buyers. I'm still trying to fine tune the colors and brightness though. The only problem I've had is with the Natural Color application that came with it that fails to install and run properly, but that could be an incompatability with my video card.

Beautiful LCD. Only monitor that has increased in price since I bought it. I paid around $430 with tax no shipping at compusa, no dead pixels, just happiness. Right now amazon has some for like $580. plus shipping. plus tax. damn. I'm glad i got her. she'll be mine for her life. hopefully she will live like five years or so... My last samsung was a CRT 21" 1100p plus, that thing still works and it has gone through some severe mistreatment. but at the time, I paid $615 for that monster
; not even a flat screen crt. 75+ pounds and a whole lotta space and heat. whatever. If you can't pick her up, you shouldn't take her home, that's my rule. The 245bw is the only screen that i have bought that has ever gone up in price after i bought it. Chips and memory have gone down, gas has gone up and down. Diesel has gone up and up. but if you can get a new one, not a factory refurbished one.. do so. from 75 pounds to like 21 pounds. i only have one question... bout the sound input.... it has a dc power jack for speaker sound on the monitor.... but no inputs; for example a speaker input 1/4 inch jack or an optical... does the DVI include sound, maybe like an HDMI? i can't find much on it. would like feedback.
