A MUST HAVE. Best Investment I Ever Made!,

This review is from: SAT Vocabulary Set 1: High-Frequency SAT 1 Words [With 24 Page Study GuideWith 24 Blank CardsWith Carrying Pouch] (Paperback)
The tried and true method of using flash cards is the way to go. It is the simplest way of augmenting your vocabulary with hundreds of new words. It could be used as a preparatory tool for an exam or for self-enrichment. The Easy-Prep set helped prepare me for the Verbal section of the GRE (Perfect for the SAT as well). By learning about 30 words a day, I was able to significantly raise my score. The set contains 750 neatly printed flash cards (business card size) and a review sheet with all the words and definitions listed on it. Each card includes concise, easy to remember definitions, the phonetic pronunciation, and a brief sentence using the word (extremely helpful). Don't deliberate, just order it--you'll be glad you did

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is by far the best way to study vocabulary. I have studied many of the famous SAT books on the market, and despite all the tricks they teach you, nothing is better than knowing your stuff. The Easy-Prep flash cards are a rare gem, because it is full of SAT-type words that are on index cards. The cards themselves are very nicely done, the size of business cards, and are superb. To anyone serious about the SAT I, or just about increasing your vocabulary, this is the best way to go.

There are six reviews by the same person. Seems a little fishy, huh? Let the buyer beware.
I'm looking for some good SAT prep materials and have taught SAT prep classes for years. I'll steer clear of this one.

I recently purcahased this tool for my next SAT test. I had once bought the Princton Review Verbal Workout for my first SAT test, and in the back, it had 250 rip-out flash cards. These 250 flash cards probably addes 20 points to my verbal section on the test. Realizing the use of good flash cards, I bought this product, for it contains 750 flash cards. The flash cards are simple, and with good definitions complete with example sentences. The great flash cards are not all this kit contains, for it comes with a pamphlet with a list of all the words, and suggestions for studying. It also is complete with a small ziplock bag to safely carry a "dose" of flash cards. I am confident that learning many words that appear on SAT tests will greatly improve my SAT score, and this is the way to learn them. Furthermore, one can order three more sets which I see my self doing. Buying these cards was a great investment. Good Luck.
