About the Author

Lew Gaiter, Jr., J.D., president and owner of ZachAar Consultants, Inc., financial consultants for small businesses, is a graduate of the University of Denver School of Law. He is also one of the founders and former president of the first minority-operated commercial bank established in the State of Colorado. Lew has successfully owned and managed a variety of businesses over the past 30 years. His areas of expertise are solving business cash-flow problems, and purchasing and expanding existing businesses. ZachAar Consultants has been involved in local real estate investments consistent with Denver's growth into the 21st Century and has expanded its consulting services outside of the Metropolitan Denver area and Colorado.

Roberta E. Lonsdale, a technical writing consultant providing services to a variety of clients, holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Technical Writing from the University of Denver and BS and MS degrees in geology. During her career, she published more than 15 technical papers and abstracts and the novel, Colorado Gold. Roberta teaches technical writing, editing, and industrial communications at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Roberta specializes in preparing written and oral communications in support of corporate or administrative objectives, using more than 25 years of applied communications, business, and technical experience. She is experienced with small, minority, and women-owned businesses. Lew and Roberta are co-authors of Entrepreneur's Handbook, published by Sterling House Publishers.
