Good Additional Information
Contrary to opinion of other reviews, I thought this book was worth the money for some additional information that wasn't covered elsewhere. I recommend it.

A mediocre text. Besides the numerous typographic and grammatical errors that illustrate how this text must have been rushed to publication without sufficient editorial oversight or proofreading, many of the chapters provide little more than platitudinous and superficial reviews. A mediocre text. Besides the numerous typographic and grammatical errors that illustrate how this text must have been rushed to publication without sufficient editorial oversight or proofreading, many of the chapters provide little more than platitudinous and superficial reviews. The paucity of images in a text purporting to be a preparatory text for the ABIM exam is particularly deficient. For exam, the IVUS chapter crudely describes the imaging artifact NURD, but doesn't provide an image. I recall very clearly from the original 1999 ABIM exam that IVUS questions very specifically featured interpretation of images.
