I love learning tools and my daughter would play with this all day if I allowed her too but because of her age she's only allowed small increments at a time. Great for kids. I would buy many more of these items.

thankfully, i just checked this out from the library before buying it. my son is 3 1/2 and there are many activities that just frustrated him and that were beyond his (or any other child his age's) level. there is one with a pretty difficult maze for a bee to fly through that always ended up being my responsibility to complete. this is definitely a game you need to completely explain to the child and do some reading from the screen. on the other hand, he really enjoyed and learned from some of the activities. maybe by "preschool", they meant 4 and up?
