It works perfectly with my Eye-fi card and Canon EOS XTi,

When I received the adapter and inserted my eye-fi card in it, at first my camera did not recognize it but all I had to do is format it with my camera and then it worked perfectly. An advice though: install the eye-fi card and card reader on your computer first, so it is set for wireless, then insert the card in your camera and format it. Then everything will work perfectly. Should you format it first, you will then need to go to the eye-fi.com website to redownload the card manager software that was on the card before your formated it. The adapter itself is perfect, nothing wrong with it.
Great product for a very affordable price.

If you want to purchase one of these, make sure that your digital camera can fit a slightly wider CF card. I have a Canon Rebel XT and this CF adapter worked very well with a variety of SD cards (16 GB, 8 GB, and 4 GB). On the other hand, this adapter does not fit in cameras like the Nikon Coolpix 995 (the CF slot is a bit narrow). When using this adapter on the Rebel, there was a slight (but hardly noticeable) lag when saving photos onto the card, so if read/write speed is really an issue, I would suggest using a high speed CF card. Otherwise, this adapter performs admirably, and makes it very convenient for me (all I need to carry now are SD cards and readers).

Slower than hoped for.,

I wanted to used this adapter with Canon 7D. Ultimately I would like to use it with Eye-Fi (which I don't have yet). But when I tested the adapter on PC using a Extreme III SD card, the writing speed is only about 3.9 mb/s. For recording 1080p video with 7D, one would need writing speed almost twice as fast. So it probably should work for taking still photos (albeit slow), but is unlikely to work for recording video longer than a few seconds. I also looked at a couple of other adapters available on Amazon. Unfortunately, based on the reviews, they don't appear any faster.
