1.0 out of 5 stars don't buy it
TWO Super-Bright 12-LED Magnetic Tap-On Lights - Instant Light Anywhere! I bought two sets, 4 lites in all. the three center tap on lights blew out after 5 minuets. Blew like a fire cracker. that happened to 3 of the 4 that I bought. I noticed the number 19 on all three. The 4 th. lite is still working OK after testing it out for 10 minuets 2 times. It had a number 3 sticker on it. My guess is that the numbers represent who made or inspected it. Also the three aaa batteries are a very tight fit in all of them. They could be dangerous.
I don't want the hassel of sending them back so i'll take the hit. I might try Jacks tool shed one more time and if same kind of results that would be the last time I buy anything from them. Dan in New Jersy

it's a cool design, but it's not a durable light.
2 LED lights are out of 12 LED after 2 pushes of test drive.

4.0 out of 5 stars Such bright camp lite, June 9, 2011

I bought several of these for my camping trip. I have a 3 room northwest territory tent. To my surprise the lights are extremely bright. I tried one out and put one in my bedroom it makes an excellent nightlite as well. I love that it has two options. The full bright lights or the nite light. If you are on a budget these are the lights for you and they are so bright for the price. Dont forget in order to get free shipping you have to buy "25.00" worth of items. I forgot and was charged 5.00 for these little thingies.

5.0 out of 5 stars useful thing, April 9, 2011

this product is great, bright enough for outdoor camping and very bright as a tent light. very small compact and too bright for it's size. I don't know why other customers wrote such reviews, but I really recommend it. By the way I'll upload video where you will see how better how this product works.

Two bad things...... It really isn't that bright. Not bright enough to light up my linen closet where I keep extra bath products. The batteries were tough to get in. So much so that I couldn't get the back cover on after putting the 3rd AAA battery in. But it still "works" I guess.

One good thing: it was only a couple of bucks.

1.0 out of 5 stars Item dirty, stopped working..., November 26, 2010

Although it was still in the packaging, the item arrived looking really dirty. It had flecks of dirt and other unknown grime all over it, almost like it had been taken out and then repackaged. Some LED lights burned out immediately after opening.

3.0 out of 5 stars Camp Lights, November 30, 2009

I purchased several from a dollar store. Center hook for hanging can be damaged if not careful, batteries difficult to seat. Must use QUALITY batteries to get 30 hr of light - cheap AAA batteries die in under 12 hr, medical grade batteries good for 24-30 hrs. Larger "UFO" type lights that run on AA batteries are far better... used larger one during power outage following hurricane IKE. Great for reading!

This piece is very bright and worked very well for what I needed it for. Although the plastic quality is rather poor, it completely got the job done. For the price, it's great.
