Rust August 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
These picks started rusting for me within the first week. I keep them in an air-conditioned environment and regularly clean them. The rust only seems to appear on the grip portion of the picks. It's also unfortunate that the points are showing a little fray after a few weeks of use. But I still gave it 3 stars because of the price.

Not a good idea to own December 1, 2010
I'm a dentist and this is a bad idea to buy these and use for oral care at home on a regular basis. Also these are not called "dental picks", they are explorers and are used for evaluating teeth, not cleaning them. I see too many patients that brush to hard and wear away their tooth structure. These would only cause more damage with people scraping their teeth to get food out. Use floss and a soft brush, not these.

Just as you would suspect December 15, 2009
I like how you receive 4 picks for such a low price. I wish the picks were sharpened before receiving it, but other than that...the picks work just like it is suppose to.

Dental Kit
It is a good kit, has a good variety of pics, but for some reason the stainless steel is rusting on the ends.

Strong Tools, Great for Cleaning Jewelry!
I bought these for close-up jewelry inspection and they work great. They are highly durable and allow for great precision.

Outright Lie
These are not dental tools but are really hobby tools used for molding and working on small parts, the quality is poor I could've put a better edge on these parts with a file. Read more

"dental" tool set
anyone who would use that crap on the teeth is insane. The picks can be good for hobbies but have absolutely nothing to do with dentistry

Exactly what I ordered
I actually ordered this set of Dental Tools for gun cleaning since there are alot of knooks and crannies that need cleaning (i would not use these for actual dental cleaning). Read more

Dental picks
Don't buy this product. The tips are way to large (fat) to be usable. They look really thin and sharp but this is not the case. Worthless.

Not a real dentist tool - just a general set of picks to be used...
This set of "dental tools" is not comparable to any real dental tool I have used. The metal is cheap and they do not have any real edge to scrape with. Read more
