4.0 out of 5 stars A good little hammer
Does what I got it for. I needed a brass hammer for work on some of my guns. Not a BFH, but a small hammer to drive pins in and out and other small work. This does it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubber, Nylon, and ABS heads not interchangeable with hammer.
The supplied rubber, nylon, and abs heads are male to female threads. The two brass and copper heads attached to the hammer are female to male threads. I tried to remove the threads from the supplied extra heads. This hammer is worthless.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good little hammer, September 1, 2010

Does what I got it for. I needed a brass hammer for work on some of my guns. Not a BFH, but a small hammer to drive pins in and out and other small work. This does it.

When you try to replace the heads, you may end up with a minor problem: the heads should be male, but it appears (from my experience and another review) that the threaded stud comes out of the head and stays in the hammer. It's not that big of a deal. A pliers and super glue fixes the problem.

This is not a heavy hammer, so if you really need to put some meat into the job, look for something else. But, if you need a light weight, this might be just what you're looking for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works Great, June 20, 2011

I was in need of a new hammer, so I got this one. After I purchased it I was reading some reviews and I got a little worried because some were not Good! I recieved the hammer and used it to replace the trigger in one of my Glocks, and it worked great. Handle is a little on the small size, I have big hands, but other then that it worked great. I replaced all heads to make sure there would be no issues latter, and I did not have any problems at all. This hammer worked just as good as my last hammer with was a lot more money then this one. I would recommend this hammer to anyone wanting it for a handgun. I di not dissasemble the AR to test it on that, but I can see why it would be any different then the Glock.

Works great for some gun work and some other needs that I have for the hammer. The interchangeable heads are a nice option without having to buy additional hammers. The different heads go on nice and snug. I recommend this hammer for anybody that needs one.

Works fine for light gunsmithing. A lot less expensive than others of the same kind and of pretty good quality. I recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Junk on a Stick, November 14, 2010

The word quality will not fit with this stick, not even bad quality. The handle is shoddy the machining is poor and the additional heads will not fit. If I was to give this hammer a value I would say the shipping was more than it's worth. If you're looking for a cheap toy look further.

5.0 out of 5 stars Luthier's hammer, November 9, 2009

I'm using this hammer for a variety of luthier tasks. It has a great weight for such tasks and the interchangable heads work great for safely hammering different parts. For the price, this is a good purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice for the price, February 1, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SE 5-in-1 Dual Interchangeable Head Hammer (Misc.)
This was a good find for the price.
The heads for the hammer screw on, so when you use them for more than a few hits you'll have to tighten them.
That's really the only problem I've noticed. For the price I don't mind stopping now and then to adjust the tightness.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheaply made, but what do you really expect?, December 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SE 5-in-1 Dual Interchangeable Head Hammer (Misc.)

Yes, I read the reviews of previous purchasers, and yes they were dead-on accurate.

This is an exceptionally cheaply made item, but it functions as a hammer, which is what I bought it for. It's not pretty, it's not flashy, I wouldn't stake my life, or anything else, on it not breaking at a crucial moment. That having been said, it's a cheap and small hammer; exactly what I was looking for.
