This knife is great for the price. Its grip is not the most comfortable one, but I liked it. Its sheath is good. The flint produces good sparks, but it is better to use a Swedish Fire steel,( you can still use it with charred cloth and it will work fine which is much better. I would recommend it to everybody, anyway.

I really like this set. The knife is sharp, but the handle could be a bit better (the para cord is a workable replacement for a handle, and adds the helpful feature of having some string on hand in a pinch). I threw it in my hiking pack, figured its a good and cheap way to make sure you have a handy knife / flint.

I really like this knife. It's small but has a good feel. Not perfect, but good. I was very happy when I got it. It's very small, but not too small. the lanyard off the handle bothered me so I chopped it short and super glued the ends, I hate things dangling off my knives.

Nice Solid knife... useless (and UNSAFE) sheat.,

The knife is a solid steel chunk which i have found to be strong enough for most tasks and it is very sharp. Handle is pretty confortable althought cord wapping is not paracord (just a cheap nylon cord). Index finger and thick thumb jimping in the back provide traction and secure grip. Tanto blade provides good penetration and a nice cutting capabilities. It's really a shame the sheat is sooooo cheap. Material is not rigid enough for a sheat and stitching is very weak. It doesn't securely hold the knife or the bonus fire starter and they will fall extremelly easy (no fastening mechanism for the firestarter) . The other main problem with the sheat is that the sharp tip of the knife has already pierced through the sheat making it a serious hazzard.
Do not purchase this knife unless you can get a different sheat for it. For the price it's an ok purchase, but consider you will need to get another sheat for it (maybe make a kydex sheat for it).

This great little knife was so sharp when I got it that it had already cut completely through the flimsy sheath by the time it arrived in my mail box. Sadly, when I pulled it out of the box, I didn't see the sharp end sticking out of the back side of the sheath and sliced my finger right up! Wound-glue and a week later, my finger was almost back to normal but now I'm stuck with either buying a better sheath for it or reinforcing this one with thin metal or leather. It's still a decent knife for the price.

Not a bad for the price. Had to sharpen it after it arrived but overal It is a good knife for the price. Very thick blade. I like the size. Not to big, and not to small.

What do you want for $8? Its got a nice tanto style full tang blade. It is made in China and doesn't seem to take and edge very good. I ran it through my sharpener quite a few times with minimal results. I may try putting it to a stone. the sheath is pretty cheap. And forget about the fire starter. I had no luck gettin a spark off of it. But for $8 I have a knife I can beat the hell out of and not feel too guilty. The parachord is done pretty good and could be useful in a survival situation. Although this would not be the knife I would typically take with me in a survival situation.

I like the knife but I noticed some problems the handle wrap isn't the same color as the sheath or the picture i don't like the shade of green it is. Also the velcro is wrong both sides are the same so it dousn't work. The knives good but they made mistakes putting it together. Also i bought it for three dollars and six dollars shipping so the price might go down again.

TINY knife...,

Well, it certainly is TINY!
Not to say that it isn't cool looking or that it couldn't do some serious damage to flesh. Just saying it's very small. I knew it'd be small by it's measurements, but to actually hold it is another thing altogether. Do not think this is a survival knife, it isn't. It's a novelty item or a back up blade for self-defense. Perhaps a purse weapon for a woman. But it's way too small to be considered a survival knife. I still haven't gotten the firestarter to produce even ONE spark. Maybe I'm not striking it hard enough, but with the small size of both the knife and the firestarter, I don't think it'd be safe to try striking much harder. The tiny size puts your hands and fingers way too close for comfort. All that said, for the 5.99-6.99 price...whatever it was...it was ok, not a waste of money...but given the chance again, I'd probably pass on this.
