For the price this flashlight can't be beat. Bought it primarily as a play toy for our cat (cats love to chase a laser spot) and was tired of replacing button batteries in other laser pointers. This works great and uses AAA batteries, which last longer and are easier to replace. The LED flashlight functions well also, very bright for the size. Only two other comments: The laser 'spot' is larger than that on other pointers I have used, which our cat doesn't care about but you might. Also, there is only one switch - you press it once to light up the LED lights, a second press turns off the LED's and turns on the laser, a third press turns the laser off. Separate switches would be more convenient, but for this price who can complain? Comes with a storage pouch also.

I was looking for something like this product and couldn't believe someone (China) already made it. My dog loves chasing the laser beam around and when we take walks in the dark, the bright LED helps cars see us when they are coming down the road. Cats and dogs love the laser pointer. They just can't seem to catch it. Just please don't point it in their eyes, it can harm them. The flashlight has a single button that has 3 modes. Flashlight ON (Laser OFF), Flashlight OFF (Laser ON), Flashlight OFF (Laser OFF). Comes with 3 AAA batteries so you can jump in and have fun right away. A very good deal and pretty decent quality metal housing as well.

I agree with the other positive reviews about the flashlight itself but as I needed it for work, the lack of quality in the belt pouch was a disappointment. It broke within a week. If you're buying this because you need a new flashlight with a pouch for work, don't. If you're just buying it for the flashlight, it's a good deal.

This is a really cool gadget. I do have fascination with LEDs, from flashlights, head lamps, Christmas lights, key lights,etc. What I like about LED's is they last for thousand of hours and consume so little energy. You can drop it on the concrete floor and it will still work. This is not the new high wattage LEDs, but it doesn't matter because those costs so much. Comes with a nice tough black case. Got mine for around 5$ which is a good value.

The added laser pointer is really nice. Made in aluminum and in comes in attractive colors. It only has 1 button that cycles through light/laser/off. What makes it dangerous is in the hands of kids. They love to play with it. Laser can cause real damage to eyes. To be safe, I ended up storing it away in my glove compartment to keep them away from my kids.

I was looking for LED flashlights and laser pointers. It was a special bonus that this one package has both features. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to buy three and take advantage of the free supersaver shipping. I received them in under a week; everything was as advertised. It worked really well. Only comments about the design are that
1) it'd be great if the switch were not on the side, but at the back end. Stuffing it in a glove compartment, briefcase, backpack, etc., could accidentally activate the switch.
2) I can live with the three-position switch (flashlight-laser-off), but would prefer a separate switch for the laser.

For $8.5 each, it's a great value. I just ordered several more because I decided to use them as thank-you gifts for my colleagues, who sll make frequent presentations and will make good use of both the laser and the flashlight.

It appears to be well built The switch works well. The LEDs and laser are mounted in what looks like foil and the laser sometimes has a double projection.

Quite a nice item, overall. The construction feels solid and durable, a set of batteries lasts a good while, and the flashlight function is nice and bright.

The design of having one button to cycle through flashlight, laser, and off isn't the greatest way of doing things, but it works. The button would stick occasionally when I first got it, but that has become less of a problem the longer I've been using it.

Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase ($6 plus free shipping).

I purchased this combination flashlight and laser pointer for a friend who has a cat. I have one exactly like this and use it to play with my three cats, but also keep it handy for searching for things with the high intensity multiple light bulbs.
The convenience of switching back and forth between flashlight and laser it wonderful. The high intensity bulbs are so much better than the old style flashlights. And another great feature is that it takes standard AA batteries so it's not as expensive to replace them. (those tiny watch batteries that some laser pointers take are so expensive and cost more than the flashlight) So this is a great bargain in every way!

My friend bought one that works. I bought one with leaking batteries that half works. I recommend finding a different one to buy.

Great product! Got it this morning around 10:30 after I had just ordered it last night around 10. The only way this product could be any better is if you had the option of having the light and laser on at the same time,but considering I have a red dot sight,it's a great product.
